Building a High School

Author: Mike Goddard
It has been on our coworker Cipriano Ayala’s heart to build a high school that could service 14 Mbya Guarani and Ava Guarani communities. The school system presently only offers up to 6th grade, with a need to add 7th and 8th grades. The high school would be from 9th-12th grade. That means, we have 2 years to get the school ready. It would be privately owned and operated by a team of Christians. It would be a technical school with emphasis in agriculture. Also, it would provide basic technical training in electricity, mechanics, agriculture, and other much needed skills for sustainability.

Together, with Cipriano and other key ministry partners, we are taking steps of faith to see this become a reality!

Cipriano and his team gathered the political and education leaders of the communities together, and it was decided to set aside 247 acres (100 hectares) for building the school and sustainable development.

We are trusting the Lord to provide architects, builders, consultants, fundraisers, prayer warriors, partners, and Christian teachers. Join us in prayer for those involved in bringing this training center a reality and that the Gospel will transform the lives of those involved.
