DISCIPLES TO THE NATIONS CONFERENCE 2019

For the past three years, we have organized the Disciples to the Nations Conference. It is unique in that we have 4 key organizations (networks) cooperating together to mobilize and equip the Paraguayan believers to reach the last ethnic groups on the planet with little or no access to the Gospel in their heart language.

Our organization (Organización Ñandutí), is a member of ASIEP (Association of Evangelical Churches of Paraguay) and also CONAMI (National Missionary Cooperation). We provide legal and financial services as well to CONAMI. Mike is a member of APEP (Association of Evangelical Pastors of Paraguay), and we work in partnership with JRMH(Jesus Responds to Today’s World) through different projects and events.

Each organization has their focus and goals; however, through the Annual Conference, we jointly provide a venue for mobilizing and training.

This year, the Disciples to the Nations Conference took place in the city of Coronel Oviedo from July 19-21.  We had over 300 people in attendance from the area and from around the country. The theme was “Disciples that make a difference”.

We had 21 ministries and organizations set up their display tables! We also had a unique Prayer Journey, where 4 stations were set up according to Acts 1:8 of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the World. At each station, there were groups presenting the needs within that area and involved those in attendance in prayer for the unreached.

What role did the Goddards have in the Disciple the Nations Conference? Our entire family was involved – from months prior to the event until it was concluded. We served through accounting, registration, ticketing, photography, communication, promo and marketing, letters and phone calls, general program, and much more.

Mike and Cipriano Ayala guided a 2-hour session with First Nation focus and provided greater clarity about what it means to work in partnership in the Paraguayan context.

Trisha and the children put together name tags and packets for each person in attendance a few days before the conference with the main program as well as other materials from different ministries.
